Nick Shea

Nick first started reading the Wall Street Journal while in high school at Phillips Exeter Academy. He bought his first stocks while a sophomore in college creating a diversified portfolio of 4 common stocks.

He graduated from Occidental College with a BA in Political Science. His interest in politics led to studying how political systems are affected by economic systems and vise versa. This interest led to his receiving an International Fellowship from Occidental where he studied comparative economic development in Scotland and the former Yugoslavia.

He first became a licensed stock broker in 1984 and served most of his early career at the former Dean Witter, now Morgan Stanley. He also spent time working for a fixed income house on Wall Street which was quite enlightening as he was there during the stock market crash of 1987.

Eventually his career path brought him to Charles Schwab and Co. where he worked as an Investment Consultant, Branch Manager and Product Developer. As a Learning and Development Director he created and delivered the branch management leadership program for the entire branch network.

He is a voracious consumer of financial news which he seeks to apply to the benefit of all his clients and their investment holdings.

Nick believes in being an active part of the community. He is active in the Knight of Columbus and the Greater Salem NH Rotary Club. He is planning to complete a 2-week service trip with Rotary to the Philippines this Autumn.

He is also involved with civic activities as he serves as an Alternate for the Windham Zoning Board of Adjustment. He is a full time member of the Windham Economic Development Committee.
